We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Duties:
- Operate a forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries - Move goods to and from storage areas - Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment - Maintain material-handling equipment by recharging, cleaning, oiling, and greasing as required - Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs Requirements:
- Experience in operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting - Proficiency with warehouse management systems - Ability to use tools such as pallet jacks and order pickers - Basic math skills for inventory counts and order verification - Mechanical knowledge to perform routine equipment maintenance - Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes - Capability to load and unload materials safely This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic warehouse environment with growth potential for individuals who demonstrate excellent performance.
