Read and understand BOM to define what parts and quantities are needed. Raise demands in SAP for part ordering. Read and understand Doc-Pak drawings and part list for required parts to be ordered. Order parts for technicians as needed. Research alternate parts with Engineering. Create demand cards for repair and warranty parts. Make sure work orders are in place for each A/C. Make sure long lead items are on order. Support A/C leaving (Overtime if needed) Communicate with Engineering and purchasing to make sure parts are correct and on order. Track parts thru the SAP system. Run Crystal reports for shortages. Release and check status of parts in SAP.
