Multi Functional Manufacturing Supervisor
Job Description :
The position manager will lead the hourly technicians and leads to make sure that all necessary functions and duties are completed efficiently as planned; provide direction and leadership to a department of technicians and guide the team and engage them in performing work activities to meet the goals of the department and the company; and ensure work is accomplished in a safe manner, with high quality, on schedule, within budget, in a timely fashion, and is Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) compliant.
Basic Qualifications
1. Supervise all assigned leads & technicians on a daily basis.
2. Ensure work is being done in accordance with proper FAA regulations.
3. Review all work statements and releases of incoming final assembly/Completion aircraft.
4. Review AOS's and print packages for all final assembly/Completion aircraft.
5. Coordinate with Production Control and Engineering to ensure all B.O.M.'s have been issued and all parts have been ordered for Completion aircraft.
6. Monitor and update aircraft schedules and coordinate with all other departments to ensure timely delivery of aircraft.
7. Review shortage sheets and coordinate expediting needed parts with Parts Department.
8. Review and approve SAP Time & Attendance for personnel on a daily basis.
9. Coordinate with Leads for proper crew loading, keeping all aircraft on schedule.
10. Review all work orders while jobs are in progress monitoring for proper sign offs and supervising and inspecting as required.
11. Ensure company and shop policies & procedures are being followed.
12. Follow all Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and general housekeeping requirements.
13. Follow all Environmental, Health, & Safety (EH&S) Rules and Regulations.
14. Adhere to all policies governing Flight Line Safety and apply quality and Flight Safety Procedures.
15. Utilize Solumina to document aviation maintenance for work methods, conformance to standards, and rework as required.
16. Protect parts to prevent Electrostatic Discharge (ESD).
17. Perform all torque operations per specifications.
18. Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired skills
A&P License preferred.
Candidates must have prior lead or supervisory experience.
Successful candidates must demonstrate proven skills in troubleshooting.
2-4 years of Aviation required.
Must be able to supervise skilled employees.
Requires excellent communication, interpersonal and teaming skills.
Must be able to speak, read and write in the English language.

This position is a FAA covered position which will require random drug and alcohol testing as mandated by the FAA.
Employees in this position may be working in a non-climate controlled environment such as a flight hangar or warehouse and be exposed to typical shop floor conditions such as noise, vibration, and grease. Following EHS policies such as wearing eye protection and being alert to one's surrounding is mandatory at all times.
Hiring will be based on the successful completion of pre-employment testing including drug and alcohol testing, reference and background check.
