Provides basic nurse care to Emergency Department(ED) patients under the direct supervision of RN. In addition to the hospital nurses aide role the ED technician responsibilities also include, but not limited to acquiring EKG, performing phlebotomy, and IV placement upon documented training provided by the ED.? The position will primarly work 7p-7a.


High school diploma or GED equivalent and exhibit proficiency in patient care and oral communication skills. At least one year of experience as a nursing assistance, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), monitor tech, or unit secretary, preferably in the Emergency Department. Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards under the supervision of a registered nurse. Must obtain and maintain a current certificate in American Heart Association CPR.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
