Senior Accountant


The Senior Account is responsible for managing, maintaining and analyzing accounting management information including general ledger activity through the financial statements using multiple systems and resources to aid in the completion of financial analysis. In addition the Senior Accountant is responsible for working on special projects as directed by the Accounting Manager.


Education and Experience: 4 year/Bachelor's Degree: Accounting or Finance (Required). Experience and Skills: Minimum 5 years experience in professional accounting. Minimum 1 year Health Care Finance (Required). Minimum 3 years Computer Skills (Preferred). Required Skills: Excellent Communications Skills, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Microsoft Excel V-Lookups and Pivot Tables, Microsoft Word. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of accounting practices to understand and interpret various accounting systems. Knowledge of budgeting and cost accounting principles. Skill in defining and solving problems, collecting data, and interpreting financial material. Skill in preparing statistical and narrative accounting and auditing reports.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
